I will continue to be the person that addresses the things we may all think, yet may be afraid or intimidated to voice. I don’t fear opinions so I’ll gladly speak for any of you whenever necessary.

I continuously have conversations with many upcoming creatives and entrepreneurs as well as established ones surrounding the topic of internal/external support because I’ve tried both this and I just want to know how they never gave up cause I’ve jumped over 10 ideas I’ve always dreamt of working on.

Internal support I feel is the most valuable due to the genuine joy from those you to see you succeed. Now external support is also very useful in terms of expanding your brand, gaining objective feedback and can somewhat be useful as a metric of your progress( I’ll say somewhat again).

What are we talking about right now you ask?

Let’s address the on going Instagram followers issue that I feel isn’t going anywhere. So the faster you accept the reality and reduce its significance on your thought process and confidence, the further you will reach. This I promise you.

Have you ever found yourself confused as to why people choose not to like the things you’re trying to promote, your expression of your skillset/work or anything pertaining to your business idea/strategies?

I purposely made that question very detailed and specific because its mostly rheoterical. I can guarantee we all have experienced some form of “drop off” in likes, comments or even engagement entirely when it comes to things we create or choose to share that isn’t a meme/selfie.

Well I have a theory and theories are called theories because they are educated opinions on certain topics but should not be held as facts to avoid the need for any unnecessary anger/rebuttal- just a theory(that’s true according to me.)

People who don’t known you personally and truly are “followers” in the most literal sense of the word, have no real attachment/incentive towards your work or business. However, the journey towards success us always exciting to watch and support your progression to a point- the point where the likes usually stop/drop off is somewhere around the time when money starts getting in the mix.

Once other people start to appreciate your level of work to the point of value is where the silent support starts to grow. I call it silent support because these people don’t leave your page/stop watching what you do. They just stop engaging with it. Why? It doesn’t even matter why. I can give you a list of potential reasons why they decide not to like things as much anymore even though you are getting better rather than worse- trust me. I don’t understand the correlation either but it exists.

The solution?.

Keep going. You’re almost there. Once you get there guess what will happen? Those very same people will say they’ve been there from the beginning watching the whole day thing- literally. Don’t worry though.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with them watching from the outside of your circle. Numbers actually do lie. But ENERGY? ENERGY never LIES.
